Tonight's audience was treated to a superb evening's entertainment. Manhattan Voices' new programme included  a "Kings of Swing" medley, a Bob Chilcott selection, including Singing Bird, Loving Shepherd of Thy Sheep and Irish Blessing. Poor Wandering One from Gilbert and Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance was sung beautifully by soprano Liz David. Our new members made their debut with Make Him Mine from Witches of Eastwick. Soloist Georgie Samuels introduced some light-hearted and amusing moments with Alto's Lament - that of the alto who yearns to sing the tune - and The Girl in 14G.

Old favourites too were included - What a Wonderful World And Les Miserables to name but a few.

A truly great evening enjoyed by both the audience and performers.

A huge thank you too to Sue Hartley, our MD and accompanist who has that terrific ability to bring out the best in her singers.
